About The Happy Journals PLR Club
Me! I'm Fran Whitaker - the owner, creator, chief everything of the The Happy Journals PLR Club. In other words, I'm a one woman band. My ultimate goal in life is to help people be successful and achieve their goals.
In a past life I was a Paralympic swimmer, living the dream and winning gold medals for Great Britain.
I'm also a motivational speaker and life coach, with more than 18 years experience in the Personal Development world.
The Happy Journals PLR Club is a service that provides high quality PLR that others can buy and sell as their own. I also teach, coach and provide motivation to other business owners. I never jeopardise quality.
The Happy Journals PLR Club exists because I believe people deserve more. You deserve:
- The best quality
- Effort - into the PLR you buy
- To be treated like a person, not as a way to make money.
- Kindness
- Motivation to be great
This is a tricky question to answer. Realistically, you can't until you do. However, I can tell you the following:
95% of my customers have returned to buy more PLR since their first purchase.
I am genuine, friendly and endeavour to make everyone feel important. I consistently put real customer value and quality ahead of everything.
The Happy Journals PLR Club has already grown beyond my initial expectations. However, I am dedicated to continue growing and expanding the services I offer.
I aim to be one of the go to businesses for the provision of PLR templates. I endeavour to be viewed as a trustworthy service that people feel confident using.
I aim to provide the highest quality PLR that you cannot buy anywhere else.
The Happy Journals PLR Club is dedicated to providing the best possible services to my customers. My customers are the driving force behind this entire business. Therefore, I always endeavour to offer my customers as much help and support as I possibly can. I strive to deliver positivity in everything I do.
If you ever need help and support, you are welcome to contact me via the support desk in your account area or the contact page. All I ask is that you keep the following in mind:
- I am based in the UK. So, whilst it may be day time for you, it could be the middle of the night in the UK. I try hard to reply to all messages in record time but, on occasion, there may be delays.
- I receive and reply to every single message I receive - no one else is involved in customer service. So, please accept that sometimes, unfortunately, there may be delays.
- If it has been a while and you haven't had a reply, please send another message - there’s a possibility I haven't received it.
- Although you cannot see me, I am a real person. I will, without fail, be polite, kind and respectful. Please try and do the same 🙂
Of course, I am always happy to answer questions and will do so as quickly as possible. Click the link below to head to the contact form.
Yes, I absolutely do. I'd love to have you on board if you’re interested. I offer 45% commission on everything and lifetime cookies.
However, I do run an "hybrid" affiliate program. This will increase your earnings when you promote my products. What this means is that when you promote a The Happy Journals PLR Club product you will earn the commissions from your link EVEN IF the customer already exists in our system. The original affiliate still makes sales on all other purchases for as long as the customer continues to make purchases. But when YOU lead someone to my site, and they purchase using your link, YOU get the commissions. So active affiliates will be earning much more!
The Happy Journals PLR Club Products and Access
Great question! I base my prices on a variety of things. Primarily, I base them on the amount of time things take to create (therefore, the time I save you), the detail of the design, and the details in the templates.
For example, 15 note pages may take less time to create than 5 topic specific planner pages. So, the planner pages may cost more but would be probably a better deal.
Normally you should be redirected to your account after you've checked out. On occasion this may not happen because technology has a mind of it's own and doesn't play ball. Alas, this is simply part of life.
If you are not redirected to your account; click the button below, login to your account and your purchases will be waiting for you there 🙂
Of course you can. Please bear in mind that I might make changes to it every now and then - I do also have add on licenses for things like graphics. But you can see my standard license here:

100% definitely. I create all my products using PowerPoint on my MacBook. Occasionally, I do a few things in Windows but these are very specific things that don’t have any affect on how you would make your edits on a Mac.
The source files (the editable versions) will come to you in PowerPoint files. Normally, you’ll get these in three sizes: 6x9", 8.5x11", and A4. However, older products may only have A4 and 6x9".
You'll also get PDF versions of all the templates in all size variations.
If your product comes with social media images (Pinterest Pins), these will come to you in PowerPoint too - in the best sizes for the social media platform in question.
If you get images or stickers with your products, these are likely to be PNG files.
You can see my standard license here. But basically, you can't do any of the following:
- Give away or sell the Private Label Rights (or Commercial Use) to any part of this package
- Give away or sell the source files (PowerPoint templates or other graphics).
- If your purchase includes social media images, these are for your promotions. They cannot be sold or given away.
- Extract any of the images or graphics from within the templates.
- Do not cite The Happy Journals PLR Club as the author of any part of this package or the content you create.
- It is a MUST that you make changes to the templates if you are planning to published the completed product as a paperback on Amazon – this is due to Amazon’s own policies.
Absolutely! I send you the PowerPoint files, along with the font files, so you can make as many edits as you wish.
To open the PDF files, you’ll need a PDF reader. I can’t live without Adobe Acrobat. But there are tons of free ones you can use.
To open the PowerPoint files, you can, of course, use PowerPoint (on both Mac and Windows). But you can also open them using Keynote (Mac) or Google Slides.
Unfortunately, due to the product being downloadable, I do not offer refunds. However, if an error occurs (or something out of your/our control), it may be considered on as case by case basis.
Please contact me if you are having any issues and I'll see what I can do.
If you’re still having trouble working out how to download your purchases, please follow the steps in the video below. Or, if the purchase isn’t there, please contact me here. Very occasionally, technology goes a bit wonky & your product may be sitting in limbo. If this does occur, it'll take me 20 seconds to fix.

Yes, of course. In fact, we actively encourage you to make the products your own. However, if you don't want to make changes, you don't have to - unless you're publishing on Amazon, as discussed below.
Many of the done for you journals on The Happy Journals PLR Club will come ready formatted to be published as paperbacks on Amazon using Kindle Direct Publishing. However, it is highly recommended that you make edits before publishing as Amazon do not allow identical copies of the same book to be published by different authors. This is why I will always include working files of each product to make editing a breeze!
It depends what you are asking here...
If you are asking if you can re-sell private label rights templates as PLR so your customers can edit it and use it as their own, the answer is no.
If you're just looking to sell the product to your commercial customers and they cannot edit/re-sell your product, then yes. That is the point 🙂
I have genuinely been asked this before. Realistically, I'm not sure I can answer this for you.
I try to be as transparent as possible in everything I do. I display as much of each product as I can on every sales page and you are able to see my standard license before you buy here.
Other than this, only you know what purchases are good for your businesses or not.

Every now and again I will update products. Mostly these updates will be to do with file size or folder layout - are unlikely to inform customers of these as they don't affect the content of the product.
I may change content of a product, on rare occasions, and I will let you know what the changes are, if you own it.
If you're asking this after you buy: I'm sorry about this. Try and work out what you don't like and make any changes you wish to suit your needs. I make the private label rights templates super easy to edit for this reason.
Feel free to contact me here if you want to chat through anything.

Well, the world is your oyster, my friend. But here is what I recommend:
- Unzip you new files
- Install the Fonts that come with your PLR
- I always deliver the fonts I used with your downloads - if you've never used these before, you will need to install them on your computer before opening PowerPoint. Look for the "Read Me" File for more information
- Organise the files in a way that works for you.
- Delete anything you will never use (we don't mind & you have lifetime access so can always re-download if needed).
- Decide how you want to use your private label rights templates
- Make your edits and publish/sell/give away your new creations.
Using PLR Content
PLR content is a great way to find your way with content creation. When you're just starting out, it can be hard to find the inspiration and motivation to keep blogging. But with PLR content, you have everything you need in one place. You don't have to spend hours researching or writing posts anymore!
PLR content is something that has been created before by a professional and then resold to another person. Put simply, the original creator gives the purchaser the right to use, edit and sell the content they've created.
There are many different types of PLR content and you'll need to do your research to find what's right for your business. Some examples of PLR content include articles, printables, eBooks, videos, audio files and more.
To start with, using PLR can feel a bit strange... maybe even a little uncomfortable. Am I cheating? (I thought this a lot).
Put simply, Private label rights (PLR) is content you can re-brand and use as your own. Sometimes, PLR is called “White Label Content”, “Readymade Content”, or “Done for You Content”. If you’re not sure about what rights come with your content, ask the seller. They’ll be happy to help you.
It totally depends on 2 things:
- The licence of the PLR you have (i.e. What you're allowed/not allowed to do).
- Your creativity.
As long as you have a very flexible license, the only limitation is yourself. There is nothing stopping you from turning a single PLR ebook into 20+ pieces of content.
No. Private label rights content is created with the understanding that customers will use it on their own website and in their marketing materials. Many PLR sellers are delighted to come across their content on various websites.
Think about this for a second: if your business took off and you were super busy, would you hire a content writer? I'm guessing 90% of you would say yes.
PLR content is usually created by ghostwriters. Ghostwriters, by trade, generate content with the full knowledge that their name will not go on the material. They know this, and they genuinely don’t mind. In fact, many ghostwriters enjoy what they do because they get the chance to educate and inform readers while writing on a variety of topics.
Most online business owners make a crucial mistake with their PLR content that limits their growth. They use it in only the format it came in.
For example, you bought a PLR ebook on how to stop procrastinating, created a content upgrade, and called it done.
But the truth is you can switch up your PLR content by using different formats like changing the text to audio. This can make your content stretch even further. I always recommend using your PLR as much as you can, using different formats, to maximise your ROI (return on investment).
With PLR content, the seller is giving you the right to use the material they have created. The majority of PLR providers allow you to change the content if there’s a point you disagree with or if you want to add your own opinion to work. In fact, I personally highly recommend you do.
Sometimes the seller may say the particular PLR you've bought cannot be edited. This is very rare though as the beauty of private label rights content is that you can change it. So, it is always wise to double check the PLR licence you get with your purchase.
In general: Yes you can edit private label rights content.
It depends what you are asking here...
If you are asking if you can re-sell PLR as PLR so your customers can edit it and use it as their own, generally the answer will be no. Unless you've bought MMR or a specific re-sell licence.
If you're just looking to sell the product to your commercial customers and they cannot edit/re-sell your product, then yes. That is the point 🙂
So many people buy tons of private label rights content and let it sit, gathering dust, on their hard drive. PLR will not help you, in any way, if you do not use it. On the other hand, it could be a complete game changer for you and your business, if you do use it. Here are some things you can do to maximise your private label rights content:
- Make sure you only buy PLR you 100% know you will use.
- Download the files as soon as you buy them so you don't forget about them.
- Unpack your files immediately and make an inventory of what you have. Make notes about any ideas the PLR gives you, including how you could use it.
- Re-write the PLR, re-order it, add your own thoughts and ideas to it.
- Try and use it. For example: turn an ebook into blog posts, emails, checklists, workbooks, social media posts, a video/podcast... Etc.
- Challenge yourself to use your PLR at least 3 times.
Of course! I can't give you a list of freebies I'm afraid as they always come and go. But pretty much all the PLR Suppliers I know give away free private label rights content from time to time. The best thing you can do is sign up to suppliers' mailing lists. This way you'll be able to catch their freebies every time.

Using PowerPoint
Whenever you look up how to create journals, worksheets and other printables, there are a few programmes and tools that will always get a mention. These tend to be Canva, Picmonkey, InDesign, and even Microsoft Word. Oddly, perhaps the easiest to use never even gets a look in: PowerPoint.
PowerPoint may well be the most surprising tool for creating awesome journals, planners & printables.
Unlike Word, InDesign or Affinity Publisher, PowerPoint has very few restrictions. It is possible to drag things around wherever you wish. Sure, it might feel tricky to use when you first dive in. But the more you use PowerPoint, the easier it becomes - you'll even end up learning some neat tricks!
It may not be the best tool (although, I think it is). There may well be tools out there better than PowerPoint.
You might hate PowerPoint because it can take a while to get used to. But if you want a tool that is super easy to use (once you find your feet), completely flexible, and will speed up your processes 10x, then I 100% recommend PowerPoint for creating journals, planners and printables.
If you want to learn more, click here to check out my PowerPoint course (coming back soon).
Before starting to use PowerPoint, I was an avid Canva fan. When someone suggested I made the switch, I was sceptical - no way it would be easier to use than Canva!
A few weeks later, I realised I had been wasting days at a time trying to do things on Canva, which now take less than an hour on PowerPoint.
I am not completely against using Canva because I've now gone back to using it to do certain things from time to time.
However, my expertise is in using PowerPoint - not using Canva. I could create PLR using Canva, but I am unlikely to do so. You buy my PLR for quality - I'm more likely to deliver that in PowerPoint.
The chances are, if your templates do not look like they did on my sales pages it is because you haven't installed the fonts I used.
It is very important to remember that if you have never used the fonts within this purchase before, they will not have been installed onto your computer yet.
All the uncommon fonts used in The Happy Journals PLR Club products are always included in your download files - look for:
Fonts Used [Install First]
The fonts must be installed before opening your PowerPoint files. If they are not installed, PowerPoint will use a generic font that will look horrible!
For instructions on how to install fonts onto your computer, please follow one of these links:
Yes I do! It is called PLR & PowerPoint for Beginners. You'll explore the true potential of PLR & PowerPoint and how you can take advantage of them.

Content Creation
That very much depends what content creation tools you need/want. Here are some ways to find tools:
- AppSumo - keep an eye out here for awesome tools at low prices (often lifetime deals)
- Google what you need a tool to do
- Ask people - friends, leaders, people in your niche
- Read blog posts (but don't try and use every tool you are ever recommended - it will slow you down rather than speed you up).
In all honesty, only you know the answer to this as it completely depends what you want your tools to do. What works for me may not work for you.
My advice is to keep it simple. Don't try and use every tool you are ever recommended - it will slow you down rather than speed you up. If you see a cool tool but you're not sure how it can help you, you don't need it
Here are a few questions you can ask to work out what tools you want:
- If you could design three miracle tools that would help you every single day, what would they do?
- What tasks do you really wish you could speed up?
- What do you wish you could eliminated from your daily tasks?
When it comes to daily content creation, there are only a few tools that I use. I'm a big believer in becoming an expert in a few things - you're more likely to create better content faster.
As mentioned in the previous two questions, it is tricky to know what content creation tools to recommend without knowing exactly what you need. But, these are the tools that we genuinely cannot live without:
This list includes affiliate links. This means if you make a purchase after clicking one of my links, I may make some commission. But this will be at no extra cost to you.
Again, it depends what kind of website you want to build. I can only make recommendations based on my knowledge and experience. Here's what I think you need:
Grab a good, short and easy to remember domain name - probably from GoDaddy. Genuinely, don't try and cram ALL the words into your domain name. The shorter the better (in a way that makes sense)
You'll need a good host. I really don't recommend thinking you'll go cheap and move later - trust me, this is hard work. Unless you don't think you'll stick something out, always start as you mean to go on. I only ever recommend two hosting services: A2 Hosting and Siteground. Personally, I use A2 Hosting now and could not be happier. But both of these offer awesome support and setting up a wordpress website is super simple.
Next, you'll want to decide what themes and plugins you want to use. It is always worth checking out AppSumo as they often have website tools on offer.
If you are looking for someone to show you how to build a WordPress website step-by-step, you'll love my course: Learning WordPress Without Fear (coming back soon)
People are always commenting on my websites. The general consensus is that it must take hours to build all the pages. It genuinely doesn't.
It doesn't have to take hours to create amazing content.
Beyond actually writing the web content and getting all the images together, no part of the website takes longer than 20 minutes to build... unless you go really fancy.
This is thanks to all the Thrive Themes plugins. They might cost a bit more than the standard plugin but they are worth every penny. Yes, I've tried Divi, and no, I wasn't a fan, but you might be.
I also love Astra Pro as a really great theme you can customise - it also comes with a drag and drop content builder

PLR Purchases/Recommendations
Really, this depends what you're looking for and what you think is good. But here are a few questions to ask yourself:
- Have I heard of this person/company before?
- Do I know anyone who has used this site?
- How does the site look?
- Is the website well designed with good copy (written text)?
- Do I think the products are good value or do the look a bit flakey?
- Will I really use the products on the site or am I just being drawn in by the sales pages.
Our rule of thumb is that super cheap is not necessarily best. If you're being offered 5million PLR articles for $9.95, you're probably not on one of the best PLR sites (sorry).
When it comes to purchasing PLR, you don’t want to get low quality content that you can’t use in your marketing. That’s why the first thing you should do is look for a content sample on the PLR provider’s website. If they don’t have one, reach out and ask. Review this sample copy to see if it’s up to your standards.
You should also look over the PLR seller’s website carefully. If their website has a ton of typos or it sounds like English isn’t their first language, then you may run into some problems if you purchase their content.
If you like the sample and the seller’s website, then start asking around. You want to make sure the provider is well-known in the PLR or content creation industry. For example, a PLR provider may be new to selling PLR but have spent years as a ghostwriter. In this case, clients and other marketers can vouch for the seller’s quality.
There are several PLR sites that I love and trust to offer you amazing value. But, remember, only you can decide what is good for you and your business.
This list includes affiliate links. This means if you make a purchase after clicking one of our links, we may make some commission. But this will be at no extra cost to you.
